I tried to get a screenshot of that scene for my desktop but Paramount+ has a DRM thing that makes it just blank.

As much as I love Maggie and Ruth Negga it’s really nice to see Reservation Dogs getting love.

I first saw her as Kitty Winter on “Elementary”.  She was quite good in that.

Against The Ice sounds a lot like The Terror, minus the supernatural elements.

I bailed because there were WAY too many bottom-of-the-barrel gay jokes about the Revolutionary War guy.

Still need a Daughters of the Dragon show.

Nate may-or-may-not sacrifice himself to save Alan

She was pretty good on Stumptown.  Still bummed that one got canceled.

You made it farther than I did.

Still not quite as dumb as “Nightflyers”.  Lets send a ship full of colonists on a first contact mission with a hateful, psionic psychopath on point, what could possibly go wrong??

Spending an entire episode following the story of Evil Cult Leader lady sapped my interest for the show.  Especially after I’d heard it had already been canceled.

Agreed.  The theme song was the best part!

In Covenant it’s revealed that David created the xenos. This doesn’t jibe with a lot of the other movies, especially the AvP ones. Maybe I’m thinking it’s the Predator connection that got blown. This article talks about some of that stuff

Scott went and blew canon to shit with Covenant.  The timelines no longer match up, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I just love how this show zigs when you expect it to zag. Except at the very end after Song/Goff’s speech when Peacemaker did *exactly* what I thought he would.

And did anyone else think the Butterflies were kinda Hydra-esque in their motivation? The speech at the end reminded me a lot of the humanity could not be

“Go fuck another fish, asshole”

Second.

she is still captivated by the accoutrements of her previous life, from beloved trips to the Catskills with her parents, to the beautiful apartment that she and Joel once shared

Isn’t the very first scene one of Midge and her mom buying pork chops?

Abe’s flirtation with Communism was just painfully stupid.  I was really happy when that storyline finally ended.
