No spoilers for those who haven’t seen it, but this episode of The Boys is fantastic.  Best episode of the season, very possibly the whole series.

The Boys (HBO Max, Friday, 3:01 a.m.)

The episode is already available.  And it’s on Amazon Prime, not HBO.

I had two problems with this:

1) Why doesn’t she ever tell anyone Tewkesbury has an assassin pursuing him?

2) Did no one bother to even cast a glance at the stump of that tree branch?  Seems like when someone that important almost gets killed there’d be at least a cursory investigation.

No SiR!

Expecting Watchmen to win big tonight.

Is it just me or does that central part of the dashboard look... crooked?  Like it’s angled to face the driver in a weird way.

Billy’s aunt is Batgirl, LOL.

Does anyone know who makes Burger King’s ketchup?  Google says it’s Heinz but I get Heinz all the time in the store and the bottled stuff tastes nothing like the stuff I encounter at BK.  The BK ketchup is significantly sweeter.

I have a bottle of that in my fridge and I enjoy it, but for me it’s too thin to use as a dipping sauce.

Does McDs not offer Spicy McChicken sandwiches in your neck of the woods? Because mine does.

Even ice cream?

That reminds me of a funny list of Air Force maintenance complaints (that I can’t find now, of course) and resolutions. One of them was:

Problem: Check landing gear light on
Resolution: Check landing gear light removed

Yeah, this has got to be fraud as well as malpractice.

I’ve used a mouse and keyboard for so long I literally cannot play FPS games with a controller.

And the Satanic Panic of the 80s.  Social media has just turbocharged it this time around.

Who the hell picked that header image?  That’s possibly the most unappetizing looking taco I’ve ever seen.

Back when I lived in an apartment with no AC one summer I took to filling an empty 2-liter soda bottle with water and sticking in the freezer.  Then I’d cradle it in my lap while I watched TV.

I’m really curious about the logistics of the place Becca lives.  Her son has a math teacher, so I assume he has teachers for other subjects.  Do they all live there full time or do they go home at night?  Are there grocery stores?  What are there entertainment options?  She mentions they can’t get news, but do they

What did Becca hold up to the camera?
