Loving this season so far.  I’ve managed to outpace the recaps.  No spoilers, but this is some seriously compelling shit.

I liked how the neighbor guy in the church says “But Bill, you have experience with---” and stopping himself before he says “serial killers”, which would have caused everyone to freak out again.

I just finished a book about one particular family of career criminals and it’s amazing how many of them were diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and occasionally head trauma. Those things combined with a shitty abusive childhood can end up creating severe anger management and impulse control issues.

I will miss Sherlock waking Joan up in increasingly alarming and noisy ways.

McNally saying “She was one of a kind” in an admirable tone of voice was a really weird thing to say about Moriarty.

Where I think Elementary beat BBC: Sherlock is that it allowed the characters to grow. The Sherlock and Watson on the BBC version always seemed very static in their relationship.

What happened to Clyde when Sherlock “died”??  I NEED TO KNOW CLYDE IS OKAY!!!

Superman as a murderous psychopath who knows when to smile for the cameras is a lot of things but boring isn’t one of them.
