OH BOY A CHANCE FOR ME TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YUGIOH
so we just don’t care about ubisoft abuse anymore?
“Is nice that a single person benefitted from something and they immediately batten down the hatches”
guaranteed there are harder-working streamers that don’t get nearly the nepotism that he does. he just had the right connections at the right time.
and that’s part of the larger problem of capitalism always disproportionately rewarding the lucky over those who actually work hard.
this “justice” system needs to be burned down and rebuilt from the ground up. if it takes EIGHT FUCKING YEARS to get justice (and most people do not have the time or resources to stick it out that long) from a corporation then the system needs to be done away with.
using powerful connections you lucked into to have an unfair advantage over others. having powerful friends (which can be defined as family) give you special treatment over others in any space is a form of nepotism
you did. the point of the post is not “ps5 scalpers are exactly as evil as landlords” but “landlords are home scalpers” to agitate people against landlords with the same annoyance/fervor they have against scalpers of stuff they only want as opposed to need.
“ninja also texted a twitch representative” nope. nuh-uh. no one should have unequal access to that kind of nepotistic power. Ninja should be banned and the employee should be fired. That’s a clear conflict of interest.
Where did I say he was exactly equivalent to a landlord?
As one of the last few Starcraft fans we have just been given a huge dose of hope. Activision always forgot starcraft existed (preferring to list it as part of “other games” when mentioning their games), Microsoft put it front and center with all the other franchises. Also since Microsoft has proven their commitment…
what do you think the point of my original comment was?
His argument is the exact same argument that landlords use. “Housing is a luxury! Not a right! I’m making housing!”
this “strategy” is why it is always the same cycle of rich people becoming richer/remaining rich. Elon Musk comes from child slave labor money, Jeff Bezos came from millionaire parents who gave just gave him a handout of starting capital. Bill Gates had parents that could afford to send him to an Ivy League school…
we all saw this (meaning all the bad moved by Humble) coming with the purchase by IGN. yet further proof capitalism ruins everything
“theft” only occurs when something of non-artificially-limited supply is taken without consent. copying things for personal use it not stealing except by VERY recent definition. Billions of years of that NOT being stealing and I’m supposed to recognize it as stealing NOW because Lars Ulrich threw a fit about it less…
this is why piracy is morally okay
people said the same thing about horse armor/season passes/lootboxes/xp boosters in singleplayer games
They got the money to make this happen whether we like it or not. Your only options are armed rebellion against capitalism, with an acceptance that a period of hard times will follow so that future generations have good times, or accept that reality will suck more and more forever for you and everyone else after you.…
