The moment Tom Holland was announced as nathan drake I knew he would be a terrible choice and I was right. Nathan Fillion or even Nolan North himself would have been better choices.

predicted. go OD on copium, corporate simp

now you will reply with sarcastic dismissal as your denial.

I only needed a paragraph to explain it to you since you were too incompetent to make the connection without the paragraph.

so... don’t speak zombie?

I think it’s time we admit L4D has not aged well. I’ve tried playing it many times over the years, but as time has gone on and shooters have honed their mechanics, L4D has been left behind. I constantly experience issues with not knowing if hits are being registered (because there isn’t a ton of feedback), being

so, therefore, my argument was in no way a stretch, but claiming it is a stretch is the actual stretch

because it demonstrates that the damage done to developers who actually work on the game is done by corporations, not by pirates. this is a continuation of the arguments people were having about whether or not it’s okay to pirate a game that just came out (from a huge corporation known for its anti customer/fan practic

Your comment was more of a stretch than mine.

Developers themselves have said piracy has no impact on sales or their pay. Cope.

And this is why it’s morally okay to emulate/pirate any and all of Nintendo's games

wouldn’t need the sales if copyright didn’t exist so anyone could make a metroid game

looks like another win for piracy. some developers don’t even get CREDIT for working on a game, so what makes you think they’ll get paid more or less if you emulate it?

now in almost every instance the snark is justified because the whiners are complaining that they don’t want their games to be accessible (or even playable) to anyone but themselves. Here the complaints are that they want a toggle to make the game more difficult for themselves but not demanding the game just be harder

This isn’t a new complaint. This goes back to PLG and was brought up again in SS. I think it’s VERY reasonable for there to be an option to turn it off for hardcore fans.

but emulation is “eEeEeEvIlLlLlL!1!”

you could have had many MORE metroid dread games if nintendo wasn’t in the way DMCA’ing everyone who tried to make more metroid games

asking someone to prove a negative is illogical. like demanding someone prove there WASN’T WMDs in Iraq. The burden of proof should be on YOU to prove the positive link

“the proven link is my feelings!” lmao

actually MORE metroid games would exist without the company. Don’t remember all those DMCA takedowns? almost all of our classic, fantasy literature is fanfiction of other stories.
