Yeah, we don't need this to go all Mission Impossible on us.

And how was it completely unlocked? Like, every. single. gate.
My understanding is that the showrunners have been trying to get him on for some time, as a surprise for Maisie, who is a huge fan of his (which explains why he ended up in a scene with her).
I'm sure you could have caught 311 at a couple high school dances if you tried hard enough…
To be fair, the older I get, the less time I have to see shows, so if I have a couple of options in a week, I am probably only choosing one show for the week, it's more likely than not going to be a band I haven't seen over a band I've seen a ton of times, whereas when I was younger I would go to 3-4 shows a week. Of…
Shit, not I'm wondering if I went to the Pantera/White Zombie tour. Wait, no. That would have been the show he overdosed after in Dallas, and I definitely would have remembered that.
I saw Pantera twice in Dallas - Once with Type O Negative opening (1995) and another time with Prong and Sepultura (1994). Holy shit those were some intense shows, especially the one in 95, as it was at Fair Park Coliseum (home of our minor league hockey team) in Dallas and served as a homecoming show, and the crowd…

This genre of youtube videos is always better when somebody is actually playing/covering the modified version and not just using a computer to digitally correct the key.
This is how I do it. The “complex” flavor of cold brew is overrated, especially when you are chugging it down just to get your caffeine fix in.
OK Peppa Pig
We carpeted the stairs to my basement with this one. Considering it’s a rug (and not carpet), and IKEA quality, it might not have been the best choice in the world, but it does look good, and we were going for very cheap.
Although the article made fun of brioche buns, where most places that have a bad burger fail is in the bun department. You CANNOT overlook the importance of the bun to the overall enjoyment of a burger. A buttered and lightly toasted bun (brioche is perfectly awesome) will make an average burger significantly more…
Double burger at a minimum, maybe triple. But the Frisco Melt is where it's really at.
I am not sure I understand your point. There are a ton of bands listed that, if you know them and like them, reveals you to be old (at the drive in, kasabian, eminem, muse), and a ton that if your DON’T know them, makes you old (a bunch of the ones I have never heard of).
But your post is inconsistent, somehow…
You guys are getting the ratings of your middle aged punk rock all wrong. This album is great, along with the Cloud Nothings, both of which are better than Japandroids. Yet, somehow, you gave that heaping pile of overripe hype and unwarranted benefit of the doubt a high grade.
They were so freaking good live. Congleton just manhandled his guitar live. Hide the Kitchen Knives is one of my all time favorite albums. Their later albums got a a little same-y and formulaic, but what a great band.
That said, Congleton has consistently produced some of my favorite records.
I'm 39 and I have been dipping hard back into heavy guitar/punk/indie/whatever (which is oddly - to my ears - being referred to as garage rock). Nothing wrong with that at all. I will be seeing Meat Wave next weekend and really looking forward to it.
And albini would agree with that.
