The Good Life definitely should have been the first single. It's the most straightforward song on the album, and it rocks. El Scorcho was too weird. The alt rock stations in Columbia MO played The Good Life in regular rotation in 1998-2000. Not sure what the lag was.

I am also (probably unusually) fond of Beerfest.
