This is a total guess, but I suspect that while Gerri’s firing has been suspended, after Roman did the deed she is not going to trust she has long-term security, and will be looking for some way to move on that might well f’ up Roman as a bonus.

by about 19 minutes into the ep i was losing it a bit thinking “guys, you gotta go get Conner, go get your brother”
The way the showrunners managed to disguise Logan’s sudden death so early in the season in an episode called “Connor’s Wedding” is brilliant. So much of Game of Thrones leaked, and they somehow kept this under wraps. Looks like HBO learned it’s lesson.
I assumed Logan was trying to lure Roman away from the wedding as a power play. “Oh, I was sick but I’m feeling better now.” Logan’s so vile, and so imposing, that this seems far more likely than an old weak man dying.
“My first thought is Tom is playing a horrible joke”
I felt like i was reacting/grieving in real time with the characters for a bit in the beginning. My first thought is Tom is playing a horrible joke to get Roman to go to that meeting. Just an incredible episode from everyone involved. Sarah Snook put up Wilt numbers
Rebecca catching Rupert was important, and I hope she is reaching the epiphany that I saw there. What he did to her wasn't personal. None of it is. He is simply a narcissist continually seeking to feed his ego. There will always be another woman. There will always be ways to belittle others. Again, nothing personal.…
Yeah, it didn’t seem like the extra money really had anything to do with it, and they just wanted to screw their dad.
I think they both still have dreams about being the next President & CEO of Waystar, but if the deal goes through, then that will never be a possibility.
Once again this show excels at making some pretty despicable people be fascinating to watch. But Roman is the one most intriguing this season. He can’t summon the same appetite in destroying his Dad as Kendall and Shiv. Conjointly he knows what his father is capable of doing and has been on the short end of his…
So i get that they want more money but Kendall says they would each get a 100 million more if their plan works and that seems kind of dumb. Like the siblings need Billions and renegotiating for a couple extra 100 millions is not bad however it’s flying too close to the sun. Like its not worth it if you aren’t getting…
The problem with the divorce attorney thing is it just doesn’t work. It works with Carmela because She is a housewife with no real connections so That is Tony boxing her in. Shiv is a billionaire with political connections She should be able to find a Great divorce attorney anywhere and isn’t beholden to New York to…
I thought the divorce attorney conflicts may have been a nod to The Sopranos, but that last scene was straight out of GoT. It even sounded Djawadi-esque (might as well have been “The Rains of Pierce” playing over the credits).
Yes this issue with scale made that scene towards the end silly, where Greef is ceding land of indeterminate size to the Mandalorians (is it the size of Long Island or the size of Texas??), but it seems like he could cede an entire hemisphere because the planet only seems to occupied by about 50 people.
Yeah it was kind of weird that this amazingly large thriving town only had about 25 people in it, whether they were camping in the outskirts,or welcoming 20 mandalorians to their planet. I mean, hell, you can use Blender (a free 3d program) to digitally add some blurry people in the background if needed. Surely Disney…
I’ve been noticing more and more another drawback of shooting on StageCraft. Any time there is a group of people shot together, they take up roughly the same amount of space as the size of the StageCraft “stage” is a limited size. The Turtle Lake beachfront, the Nevarro refugee group (they even walk very slowly so…
Sucks seeing two talented chefs go packing this early, especially May, but there’s no where to hide on cast this stacked. Any small mistake and you’re gonna be gone. But they clearly should have gone. The assignment was to elevate the dish they picked. So they picked a Scotch Egg and made...a Scotch Egg.
I once told my kids that Shepherd’s Pie was made with real Shepherds, and now they won’t eat Girl Guide Cookies.
I enjoyed the one dude who just saw his son snatched saying something along the lines of “this happens everytime” when their jetpacks run out of fuel and they were unable to keep pursuit. Between this and almost getting eaten by a giant crocodile dinosaur, I’d be starting to question if this group actually does know…
I’m honestly happy other people are starting to see the show the way I do. The Mandalorians are boring, they really need to start doing something with Grogu (he should have stayed with Luke), and the story needs to start progressing. At this point I’m just watching it out of spite.
