The season is almost over, guys - which means New Girl is almost over, and this long-running AV Club forum on New Girl is almost over! It’s the end of an era!

Politics Corner - Pruittwatch - Shit’s Getting Weird at the EPA edition. Apparently Scott Pruitt has adopted a bunker mentality, walling himself off from the agency he leads, except for five members of his inner circle, from Oklahoma, four of whom are under 30. Not included on that list? His chief of staff. He went

By that logic, Carrie should have stayed in the car with him. That seemed like a real lazy tie-up so that Anson could survive and make it home.

For some reason I was bracing myself for it to be Tran. I don’t think I could have taken that.

I thought we liked Max? Why would anyone threaten to ‘ship him with Carrie?!

How the hell did the guy driving Carrie around while she was dressed as Simone make it back to the US?

I can’t wait to see Chris Brody 2032 in which he’s still hoping to catch some quality time with his absent father.

I think I know what we’re all hoping happens next: Dana Brody finds out she has a half-sister.

I was surprised that Simone was left dangling last week but I guess there was underlying logic there, just like how the first half of the season, in retrospect, was unfocused by design. I can’t fault the structure of this season even if I don’t think it’s supporting much of a plot.

And his brain. And his body.
