I kind of love that the take both SNL and Seth Myers have settled on for Eric Trump is that he's severely mentally challenged. I can understand why Don Jr. thinks that's funny too, since their take on him is that he's simply an asshole, which all Trumps take as a compliment.

it kills time, though.

it is exactly in the same galaxy in Baskets. Tonally, it's just about in the same zip code.

Yeah, it was pretty good twenty years earlier in License To Kill, too.

He recently went into rehab for the glug-glug, so that may have something to do with that.

I don't know. All I know is that for every "Chevy the monster" story I hear, I hear the exact opposite from someone else. He's sort of Shatner-like in that regard.

As much as people seem to like to think that Chevy Chase doesn't have any friends, he actually has many long-standing friends in the business, like Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Lorne Michaels, and even Bill Murray sometimes. Hell, Chase was even close with Johnny Carson for the last decade or two of his life, and would

Beyond a shrug and a "Yeah, that makes sense", probably not.

This is it. The idea that any halfway competent performer would need to "steal" a Trump impression. It's like Rich Little complaining that he was the first person to say "Well, there he goes again" and that Jim Morris ripped him off.

That's it, isn't it? The idea that SNL would cast an unknown for a single impression that they no doubt didn't think they'd have any need for past November is pretty odd.

I don't either, mostly because Baldwin's impression is barely an impression. It's just like his take on the most sour, mean-spirited person in the world. Which is probably what makes it feel so on-the-nose, despite not actually sounding like Trump.

I'm starting to think some of you people have never even met him.

Yeah, I used to hang out with her at recess, Alec was on the money with that one.

He's a funny guy, but he's at the stage of his career where he's starting to feel like he should be more famous than he is, and that's often where you see performers start to become kind of sour.

I made fun of the "JHINA" pronunciation five seconds after it happened. Who can I get in a fight with?

And yet people keep asking for a black or female Dr. Who.

Pally's character from Iron Man Three should crossover with Ant-Man.

I really hope they offered it to Kirstie Alley first.

I guess they need to do something to kill time until they get the Marvel theme park rights back.

I tend to find conservatives are the friendliest people in the world until they find out you aren't one of them, and then it's like Bad Day At Black Rock.
