This is boring and slow and has a slushbox. But! It’s in amazing condition and it runs for under $2k.

All the Toyotas owned by myself and my immediate family members in the past 15 years:

I paid $8600 for mine and have another $3,500 into it bringing it up to date with maintenance. Mine is rust free and in driver’s quality condition inside and out. For reference, my car was just posted on Jalopnik HERE.

I’ve just bought a barn find CX GTI, 1987, over the phone. 61k miles on the clock and rust free, at least thats what the seller told me.. Paid $870.
It’s a bit worrying that the engine hasn’t been started in ten years. Picking it up on Saturday. What could go wrong? :)

I love those. More wagons these days should have spats.

It ain’t no wagon. Now this is a wagon:

you say that but

easy any car/truck that was not trying to be a computer/ipod....

I can release the parking brake with the door closed no problem. Even after eating my steaks and drinking my wine.

The RNC is coming to town this summer and I have been toying with the idea of trying out driving for Uber - but only if I could find a respectable vehicle that properly says “America is Great.” Mission accomplished - President Trump, your ride is here.

Oh God I fucking hate those lightup stars. I want to smash them every time I see one on the road.

I do not like carbon-fiber trim at all. It’s a wonderful material, but I’ve never considered it “decorative.” If it’s an exposed structural component of the car then that’s cool, but if it’s on display as a trim piece it looks a gaudy, contrived attempt to make the car seem sportier.

Give credit where credit is due. Porsche has let worse leave the factory.

That porous wood in the Volvo is a fad. You're wrong and you're a victim of liking the latest fashions. I bet you like bars with reclaimed wood and Edison bulb decor. Idiot.

Porsche: “Well, the jerk store called, and they're running out of you."

boy am I glad that “blond” wood fad died a quick death, because that pic of the Lexus makes me think “Interior design by IKEA.”

Interesting how opinions vary. I think that the Lexus pictured and it’s choice of piss-yellow wood in pursuit of a high-contrast approach looks terrible, whereas I actually quite like the Porsche interiors pictured. Maybe it doesn’t belong something like a GT3, but on lower-spec 911s, which are grand tourers more than

I wrote a story for a Reddit post on this:
