Saw an incredible stat over the weekend. Dominic Thiem is now the only active player under 30 years of age to win a set in a grand slam final, let alone a grand slam final match. It truly could be a lost generation of tennis.

Time, for one, was on his side. Thiem, now 25, moved another year closer to his physical prime; Nadal, now 33, moved another year away from his.

While abortion is important, extinction is far more important of an issue than abortion.  We are talking about the planet becoming uninhabitable for ANY human.

There are probably a lot of important issues to talk about. Some of them might result in our extinction though.

It isn’t the most important issue. Abortion rights are more important.

Civil rights are always very important.

Except for the part where he’s a violent homophobe, apparently.

Because living in a brick McMansion 5-10 miles from anything of interest and the most culturally significant thing in the area being the first McDonalds in the metro suburban area sounds like actual hell to me.

Everywhere you live has something shit about it. NYC is a fucking spectacular place to live. Why do you think people are willing to spend so much per square foot just to live there?  The NYC juice is worth the squeeze

“When my dragons are grown… we will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground.”

You know who “deserves” Zion? The San Antonio Spurs, who held it together through a superstar deserting them via strong organizational culture and smart development of players. Or the Portland Trailblazers, who got over a devastating playoff sweep last year through strong organizational culture and smart development

Vote for Hilary! She’s the ELECTABLE one.

Then vote for Joe Biden who is the closest thing to Obama which can win.

In New Hampshire, Joe Biden predicts that once President Trump is out of office, Republicans will have “an epiphany” and work with Democrats toward consensus.

Governments don’t exist to make profits, dipshit.

It costs $0.50 to have the USPS deliver a letter for you. What would UPS et al. charge? Comparing apples to apples, a UPS second-day air flat-pack envelope from my home in New York to my mother in Arizona would cost $34.63, without weekend delivery. The same service via USPS is $6.70, or $24.70 if I want Saturday

You ever been to Japan? Get back to me about government, service, and trains after you do.  And if this is just a troll, let me tell you in advance to go fuck yourself.

Why should the USPS make a profit? It’s a government service. Does the Army make a profit? The Justice Department? The USPS also doesn’t get to cherry-pick its routes like UPS or Fed Ex do. Do you think that if you lived in Nome, Alaska, Fed Ex would deliver a letter for you for 50¢?
