Idk, man, look at Germany. Lewis spun off twice and Max was virtually perfect. Max has always had superhuman talent, but he was too aggressive and impatient at first; now that he’s grown up I don’t think you can say Lewis is better unless you put them in the same car and he still wins.

I grew up in one of the two states in the US where you’re not allowed to pump your own gas, so I didn’t learn how to do it until well into adulthood. I had to ask a stranger in a gas station to show me and hope they understood what I meant when I said apologetically, “I’m from New Jersey.”

Twenty plus years later and I still say that the greatest thing I learned in high school was how to type without looking at a keyboard.

One thing I don’t understand are people that are similar age to you, but have actually done typing as a solid chunk of their job for YEARS, but still do pointer finger slow typing, staring at keys.

Kinda related, but as a non-smoker I really struggle with using normal lighters. I’ve had to use lighters for random things (lighting a grill, burning the end of a string), and every time I use it the flame ends up coming back towards my fingers and I hurt myself.

I work with someone who’s mother doesn’t know how to pump gas. Their dad has just always done it. That blew my mind. There aren’t any full service stations around here and haven’t been for a long time.
