The way Syd acted in that episode was so different from the other episodes. She didn't care at all about anyone else there and basically told off Melanie.
Melanie at least functioned and ran the place until she suddenly became totally useless.

No he went under the water and unaware of what was going on. He probably sensed it. Syd made it clear she (someone on her team) would clear the way for David to escape.
Don't think that was what he was saying at all.
yes
but he wasn't in the pool area
Seems like we lost two really interesting characters..
After this episode there was a preview for next week and it said season finale.
I'm still wondering who basically set the pool area on fire in the pilot episode. Who controls heat like that? Anyone?? Because the three of them do not have that power and David wasn't the one doing it……
The exposition dump was a cheap way to straighten things out. At least they visually made it very interesting. At this point they didn't have much of a choice because of the confusing mess of the previous episodes…
He was way more than some creep. He was quite powerful.
I think they totally dropped the ball with the Eye after he entered the astral plane. It didn't fit everything else his character had done to that point. It really made no sense and it cheapened him. Just like Melanie, I think they wasted his character the last few episodes.
Pretty sure Smallville has that covered. One season won't change that.
I totally agree. I think he let them out. Guess they didn't tell him Lenny nearly killed both Syd and Kerry.
Legion has finally earned its Viewer Discretion Advised rating with the Eye's demise. Brutal but creative.
Best episode by far.
