I am certain that every one of these cities *needs* more money for public transportation infrastructure. And if I were dictator, they would all have it. San Francisco has one of the strongest and most rapidly expanding urban economies in the nation. BART is reaching a crisis point.

Everything but the $40 million is certainly a bunch of nonsense. That amount could help in the Bay Area. My parents are very involved in local politics, and I’ve heard presentations by our elected representatives at BART. There is a serious need for more funds and forward thinking proposals. The Bay Area is growing…
