And a higher price, and a not a hatch, and a different design, and a sparse dealer network.
By your logic, the Camaro and CTS-V are the same car.

That’s not a Kia Stinger.

Since when did the Stinger get a manual transmission?

I’d rather see Mazda move their sedans to a RWD architecture and offer something affordable that sets themselves apart from the rest of the segment.

The only way it would have helped is if the under and back sides of the cab were routinely rinsed, and those almost never get hit in a standard car wash.

Waste the guy’s time. That’ll surely change his distaste for dealerships.

Soap and water wouldn’t have prevented that.

Attaining 30 mpg isn’t going to help when the needed engine is going to be an upcharge to an already expensive truck. It’s also ridiculously massive and a total eyesore.

Some butthurt responses to a valid point here. It doesn’t relieve the driver of the responsibility of paying attention, but I have seen plenty of people inadvertently put themselves into harm’s way by taking a casual stroll across a road with their faces in their phone and their earbuds plugged in. The most egregious

If you’re used to something making 300 HP at a similar weight, then it is slow.

I would hate for them to come out with a special edition that includes a manual transmission.

Of course it’s New Jersey plates.  Whenever I see stupid shit on the road, it’s almost invariably a car with New Jersey plates.

When I read about the tweel 15 or so years ago, the article said that the lack of a sidewall was just for demonstration.

It sounds like that guy would have used any excuse to stiff on a tip.

If a rich snob turns their nose up at it, it’s not a luxury car.

You obviously have never driven a car with a manual transmission from the last 15-20 years, let alone the last 5.  The clutches on these newer cars are very light and very easy to drive. No one’s left leg should be developing any more issues than their right leg in a brand new car.

What about a 78-83 Malibu? They seat 4, come in two and four-door versions (even a wagon!), and are right in that price range. The G-Body platform is very versatile, too.

The dealer network debacle is the biggest issue. The closest dealer to me is about an hour away, and they didn't have any manuals in stock the last time I checked.
