Investigation Discovery did a multi-part docuseries about the same cases. There is no real ending to the mystery so it is ultimately just depressing about the missing women and the economically stagnant area they are from.

Why is this news? Of course they're going to do another stand alone Batman film. Movie studios aren't in the art business, they're in the money-making business. Once they get the DCMU up and running, we'll get another Batman franchise.
