I fully expect at some point the manufacturers will decide we don’t really need the windows down, since we’re not allowed to smoke in our cars (by that time) and outside air is full of things that aren’t good for you, and open windows just mess up the aeros they go to great lengths to perfect so you can get .02%

LOL...yeah...I had a friend who bought a new Ford ZX2 in about ‘96 or so...right when cars were beginning to have the “smoker option” rather than standard equipment. He came straight to where I work from picking it up. He was SO mad...LOL...”I just realized this damn thing doesn’t have an ashtray or lighter about a

OK, I will attempt to put together a little bit of rational, objective thinking here, and it will stay in the gray and maybe be deleted or whatever seems to happen to counterpoint here. Because obviously nobody is interested in rational.

Big ashtrays. Roof rain gutters. Not resonating like a subwoofer when I have a back window down.

That’s OK. Mine will get a set of Supertrapps. Will sound awesome.

Yup...the “rotor hat drum”...I didn’t mind doing drum brakes, kinda fun once you get a system down...at one time I wondered...why couldn’t we have metal shoes...and a drum with the lining inside it? For a brake job you pull the drum off and throw it away. Adjust the metal shoes in a bit, put a new lined drum on. Done.

Sorry I just looked at the latest, they’ve settled it at 255 hp I-4 or optional 365 hp turbo V6

Yes it is...and 315 hp, enough to be fun. Or it can have an optional 360 hp motor, and AWD is available too. Sadly, no manual, not that I’ve heard of. 8 spd auto.

First: I have no idea who this person is or why I should care about what she does. I read the whole thing because I hoped there WOULD be a reason to, but I didn’t find one.

Ok, I lied. I WOULD like a short-throw shifter :) That would be nice. Maybe you all put your money together and get me one for Christmas? LOL...

Gorgeous. But I’d settle for that new KIA thing too...it’s pretty in the same way...but probably a much better car...

OK Torch...third time I’ve seen Taquito in print today, and you’re responsible for two of them. Hungry?

There’s been some really good Monty Python routines like that...LOL

I remember once sitting on a plane, looking out the window as we got our pushback from the terminal. I looked down at the wing, and the words “NO STEP” in red had a big greasy hiking boot footprint across them. LOL...I was just hoping that wasn’t the guy who worked on it last....

Ya know, I once read that one of the most energy-efficient major industries is actually the paper industry...there is apparently a liquid byproduct of paper production they call “black liquor” and it’s very volatile. They burn it for energy, heat, steam, electric, etc...and are able to generate around 60% of their own

Speaking AS a rider, that is a seriously crappy bike. It would be a seriously crappy bike for some nutcase kludging junk together in his garage for kicks. I understand the “so bad it’s cool” aspect but riding it would just SUCK NARDS. My 1982 Yamaha Maxim 650cc weighed 450 pounds (205kg) and made 71 hp with 650 cubes!

Only thing I’d be concerned about is like any gyroscopically-influenced system, a riderless bike is real prone to reactive direction changes with just a little bar input...and you end up getting the opposite reaction, you could see it in the race video when that first track attendant just managed to slap the bars and

LOL, yep. My little brother (NOT a mechanic) had one as his first car. Had it about a year, I think It ran all of about 2 weeks. in between lengthy breakdowns, I mean. Not a good car for the mechanically inept...for a tinkerer, they are a blast.

If you can ever get it to start....Magic Smoke-based Lucas electrics...

I was going to scold Tricia right up until I saw Automatic, then I understood. To put it in perspective, I drive quite possibly the 2nd slowest car ever built in Asia, a 1998 Mazda Protege (3) DX 1.5L, but the saving grace is the manual 5 speed...and I have a BLAST with this car! I’m told (by those that can’t keep up
