When plugged in, it cycles between charging / not charging. It was actually quite hot when i went to grab it to charge the iPad, it had not been plugged in at all!

I do this every couple years when making relish (my grandmother's recipe). I end up with quite a few jars that last me forever. Stuff never goes bad, Friends all love the relish and I bring it on every picnic/cookout/BBQ/party. I have heavily considered making even more for sale.
