I rewatched the finale on demand and did a frame-by-frame advance... it was fairly clear to me that Lyanna mouthed “Aegon”... and Ned shortened changed it to “Jon”. As I could tell, Lyanna’s whole line was “His name.. is Aegon.. if Robert finds out he’ll kill him, you have to protect him... Promise me, Ned. Promise

The point is that if Jon’s true name is Rhaegar, the chance that they ran away in love as opposed to him kidnapping Lyanna just went up to 100%. Rhaegar was dead by the time Jon was born so the name was all Lyanna’s idea. It would be good shorthand for the show since I doubt they want to explain/flashback the whole

Was Syrio really Jaqen? It seems to me that the combination of blind fighting and Syrio’s water dance training with Needle is what enabled Arya to defeat the Waif. Jaqen looked really proud of Arya when she left, like his initial goal was complete. (I miss Syrio, he looked to be a great mentor for Arya)

I agree with Rob, this has been the best season by far. Things felt way more tired last season than now. They’re getting to the end and it’s energizing everything.

I cannot agree with this. Honestly, season six may be my favorite season. As insane as the final episode was, it all felt right, in a way that the stories have in the books. I don’t think they’re tired at all—I think they want to go out on the top of their game (...of thrones).

If “winter has finally come” isn’t a spoiler, well, okay then.

OMG. Now you just spoiled me on the title. AND the site spoiled me on the fact that the show was broadcast last night. Thanks a lot, dude.

Hard to believe reading other people’s predictions about future events in a TV show could be so entertaining. Only GoT.

It’s a bottle episode of Sam in the library at Oldtown. Gilly is there and she can’t keep the baby quiet. All the library patrons are annoyed, but she befriends them one by one. Sam keeps reading the important parts of the books aloud, provoking the sarcastic, elderly librarian to deny him access to the one book that

I’m not sure what this season’s cliffhanger will actually be but I do know what the final scene will fade to............

They are not hypnotized. They are playing possum... Playing dead because they feel threatened.

I don't see anything adorable or cute going on

i thought that scientist dude died in the first one? did the aliens also have thoros of myr abilities?

I think your nostalgia for the original is getting the best of you. It was one of the original popcorn blockbusters. The movie you saw because plot, continuity, reality and “soul” didn’t matter. You wanted to see the world get destroyed in a spectacular, blue tinged fashion... Also, it had Will Smith, so you knew it

That’s the exact question that popped up in my head when I read the title.

That scene will never not get a star outta me.

So much fun packed in such a simple scene.

“...and maybe Legends of Tomorrow was a little goofy”

Counterpoint: Marvel doesnt have Arrow season 3 & 4 in its universe.

1) Melissa Benoist.
