“So Much Thought Pain” sounds like the name of a Childish Gambino album that would be SO GOOD

I still can’t believe that what used to be the worst of all the CW shared-universe superhero shows is now, without question, the best. I don’t know if they reshuffled the writers’ room or brought in a new showrunner or if they all just decided “fuck it, let’s have more fun than any other room this year and hopefully…
You bastards!
“This fall, prepare yourself.”
I’m confused. Do these Joker movies mean delaying/scrapping the currently slated run of films that’ll make up the DCEU? Or just in addition to? If it’s just in addition to, then who cares? Let’s see how Justice League does now that Wonder Woman has started to move things in the right direction before everyone…
Of course ratings are down - how can a primetime “event” game seem special when it’s 1 of 3 every week? NFL did this to themselves.
“As narratively compelling as it is to have this whole thing take place in meatspace with physical androids, wouldn’t this all be much more sustainable in some sort of VR?”
How can someone who knows so little about Batman be allowed to write anything Batman-related? Bruce (like his parents) gives a shitload of money to various charities all over Gotham City.
Are you kidding? Bruce Wayne makes Bill Gates look like a cheap asshole with all the money Wayne Industries given to charities all over Gotham City...
in all fairness it’s kinda supposed to be a list of shows that came out of nowhere to punch you in the feels...glee was always a pretty hammed up show, so tearjerk moments were to be expected
Moffat’s a fantastic writer, but a terrible showrunner. Most of the best episodes of the RTD era were written by Moffat. Then, Moffat took over, and turned the beloved recurring characters he created during RTD’s run (Weeping Angels, River Song) into a half-baked shell of their former awesome selves
Eccleston has since kept his distance from *movies and TV altogether, outside of Thor: The Dark World.
for all its faults, that exchange (and several others like it throughout the season) was like a tiny beacon of hope that this show does indeed have a semblance of a very good, fun series buried in there somewhere
seriously...unless the next two films are about how bryce dallas howard’s character tries to fight off life imprisonment and millions upon millions in damages for what her park was responsible for in the first film...
Didn’t the BvS extended cut explain that Batman WASN’T actually branding people, but rather that Lex was framing him in an effort to make people (most notably Superman) think he was?
*checks to see if anyone made a snarky comment about boseman calling his marvel film “gritty” like they all would if it were a DC movie*
“obvious play to 90s nostalgia”
looks like you were right, based on the two responses you got...not much of a “long list” at all...
Jeez, Kirk Douglas was packing a freaking python in there. Good for you, Kirk.
I bet you’re gonna buy a ticket and be there opening weekend, just to “hate watch,” aren’t you? Way to stick it to ‘em.
