On a (hopefully) lighter note, I did not know that the FJ Cruiser wasn’t a new vehicle when it came out.

Three things:

Considering the old Top Gear is on Netflix, I wonder if it’ll just keep playing through to the new episodes with that ginger twatwaffle and his merry crew when the episodes of the old show run out.

I think it’s the fact that I don’t remember to think of their products as “bespoke vehicles” as what gets me (irked). I forget to look at it like that, especially when they’re doing it to something like a classic Bronco.

ICON is a company I can’t decide if I love or hate. They do some awesome work, but charge way too much for less-than-functional results.

Trust me, this is more than just an American thing.

Heh. Get paid shit as an artist in the game industry, and when you make it higher up it’s the same game all over again. Don’t miss working in that industry.

I drive our ‘86 Corvette, and 85 mph is utterly hauling ass.

meeeeh...

And instead we get TellTale games stuff again...

I want to play Division, but my CPU on my desktop is (apparently) too weak so the enemies don’t show up for over a minute despite the game graphically running smoothly at high settings. I tried playing it on a work computer (recent Asus gaming laptop I use for CAD work) and the enemies played OK but every time I’d

Having seen one of the Raptor demo planes in action, could you imagine if the Angels got their hand on a set how amazing that would be to watch.

Commute takes me about a third of the way up the East bay, usually around there (880) is where I see the white SUV’s. I’ve seen the black and white livery ones as well.

I think this is the same model SUV the CHP has started using. Only they’ve got theirs in all white, with only very small gold “California Highyway Patrol” lettering across the back and sides (nearly impossible to see at a distance against the white vehicle). All the lights are hidden and the antenna are minimal at

Nope. As I recall they’ve got a split in them so they just slip right on. I want to say I picked up some silicone grease from Oreilly’s and that took care of it. My father’s XLR had a similar problem a few months later (rear sway had been replaced after someone rear-ended the car) and that took care of it.

Two of ‘em, both on my previous Corvette. First was that the car would stall out at the line, This was an automatic 2001, so it was rather disconcerting that it would just die like this, especially since it ran so well otherwise. After a lot of trying to figure out what it was, took it to our mechanic. He ended up

I’m more interested in what the new theme song will be, I need a new ringtone.

Even as a hobbyist welder, I winced at him doing all the placement welds without a mask.

Outside of their store, can you treat the screens as just a (VR) monitor? Essentially what I’m curious about is can I currently buy a unit, plug it in / configure it, and just treat it like using a monitor? I can understand interface necessary for configuration / calibration, but there’s no “click here to share this

Hey Kirk, from messing around with the various sets available, what’s your experience so far on branding and obtrusive UI? Are you seeing anything from the different sources that looks like it could be a turf war for your eyes, with your eyes caught in the crossfire. Or are they treating the sets like a peripheral
