Step 1) It’s not a Smart forTwo.

Truly this is combat evolved.

I’d rather pay $15k for this conversion:

Cost aside, I think I’m going to wait for “gen 2" of the VR experience. It’s really going to be a question of whether VR becomes a ‘Steam’ thing (everyone has their own unit and their own interface) or it’s going to become a proper peripheral not tied down to any one company’s idea and usable outside of their sphere

Maybe this could result in a bionic commando type game. Grappling hook in one hand, gun in the other. The idea of not looking where you’re shooting (actual blindfire / cover fire) in a VR setup is something to look forward to.

I’m going to be laughing my ass off if I see any of these around.

Somewhere at Blizzard there’s a few animators who either A) already had this animation sitting around and had the designers change a line in the settings or B) figured “Why are we pandering to this bullshit” and figured they’d have fun with it anyways.

Yup, just pointing out the deal I saw a day or two ago, especially since between the two I’d choose the surface.

You can get a Surface 3 128gb with keyboard at Costco for less than that right now.

Unreal Tournament failed when they went away from the UT2k4 gameplay mode to the console-friendly GoW style of gameplay: “heavy” combatants with limited weaponry and slow movement.

So... he’s not poor. When’s the lawsuit happening? Can’t wait to hear Trump’s opinion of video games, game studios, and gamers.

Yah, I have zero problem with the vids. Honestly, I probably won’t play the game, but I’m loving the vids for the character and world development aspect of it.

While Bliz is known for good stuff, do you think we’d be getting something like these vids if Valve hadn’t done the “Meet the” vids for TF2?

Just like parts failures that occur on track with the Corvette are under warranty by the manufacturer

I meant instancing of art assets. You have 30 ships that are all the same model, the game engine can reduce its load by treating them all as one asset. I’m horribly oversimplifying the description of what it’s doing, but you get the idea.

Wait. They called it the MogRod?

A few things impress me to this day about EVE.

Nope, because it’s one more distraction, and one that encourages you to take your attention from the act of driving to turn the road into facebook / yelp. But some cutesy avatars and the feel-good-feeling of “helping others” makes that ok.

And when you start fiddling with it to ‘tell everyone else about that cop’ congrats, you’ve just 1) broken the law and 2) made it extremely unsafe for yourself and everyone else on the road.

I also have a HUGE problem with people fiddling with their phone while driving. A radar detector is a hands-off / hands-free item that gives a visible and audible warning.
