Having seen one of the Raptor demo planes in action, could you imagine if the Angels got their hand on a set how amazing that would be to watch.

Commute takes me about a third of the way up the East bay, usually around there (880) is where I see the white SUV’s. I’ve seen the black and white livery ones as well.
I think this is the same model SUV the CHP has started using. Only they’ve got theirs in all white, with only very small gold “California Highyway Patrol” lettering across the back and sides (nearly impossible to see at a distance against the white vehicle). All the lights are hidden and the antenna are minimal at…
Nope. As I recall they’ve got a split in them so they just slip right on. I want to say I picked up some silicone grease from Oreilly’s and that took care of it. My father’s XLR had a similar problem a few months later (rear sway had been replaced after someone rear-ended the car) and that took care of it.
Two of ‘em, both on my previous Corvette. First was that the car would stall out at the line, This was an automatic 2001, so it was rather disconcerting that it would just die like this, especially since it ran so well otherwise. After a lot of trying to figure out what it was, took it to our mechanic. He ended up…
I’m more interested in what the new theme song will be, I need a new ringtone.
Even as a hobbyist welder, I winced at him doing all the placement welds without a mask.
Outside of their store, can you treat the screens as just a (VR) monitor? Essentially what I’m curious about is can I currently buy a unit, plug it in / configure it, and just treat it like using a monitor? I can understand interface necessary for configuration / calibration, but there’s no “click here to share this…
Hey Kirk, from messing around with the various sets available, what’s your experience so far on branding and obtrusive UI? Are you seeing anything from the different sources that looks like it could be a turf war for your eyes, with your eyes caught in the crossfire. Or are they treating the sets like a peripheral…
Step 1) It’s not a Smart forTwo.
Truly this is combat evolved.
I’d rather pay $15k for this conversion:
Cost aside, I think I’m going to wait for “gen 2" of the VR experience. It’s really going to be a question of whether VR becomes a ‘Steam’ thing (everyone has their own unit and their own interface) or it’s going to become a proper peripheral not tied down to any one company’s idea and usable outside of their sphere…
Maybe this could result in a bionic commando type game. Grappling hook in one hand, gun in the other. The idea of not looking where you’re shooting (actual blindfire / cover fire) in a VR setup is something to look forward to.
I’m going to be laughing my ass off if I see any of these around.
Somewhere at Blizzard there’s a few animators who either A) already had this animation sitting around and had the designers change a line in the settings or B) figured “Why are we pandering to this bullshit” and figured they’d have fun with it anyways.
Yup, just pointing out the deal I saw a day or two ago, especially since between the two I’d choose the surface.

You can get a Surface 3 128gb with keyboard at Costco for less than that right now.

Unreal Tournament failed when they went away from the UT2k4 gameplay mode to the console-friendly GoW style of gameplay: “heavy” combatants with limited weaponry and slow movement.
So... he’s not poor. When’s the lawsuit happening? Can’t wait to hear Trump’s opinion of video games, game studios, and gamers.
