I guess I’m just oblivious. I thought Excalibur was pretty universally beloved, at least in the pantheon of Arthurian movies!

Honestly, after the last ~5 years, I’m not at all sure that a strange woman lying in a pond distributing a sword would be worse than what we have now. Who knows what factors she takes into consideration? She may be picking the best person for the job.

I hope the movie has the time to explain why strange women lying in ponds and distributing sword is not the basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power comes from the mandate of the masses; not some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can’t just expect to weird supreme executive power just because some watery

What’s the difference between a bag of cocaine and Clapton’s 4-year-old son? He never let a bag of coke fall off a high-rise balcony.

what a piece of shit.

No, Elon, the CyberTruck looks like it was designed by an early-’80s SFX artist’s idea of what a truck designed by aliens from the future would look like. There is a difference.

I’m not sneering at all. I’m being lighthearted. KOTOR and Dragon Age are two of my all-time favourite games. Also, PoE1 was great.

The Diarrhea Incident sounds like late 70's Robert Ludlum.

At last, bad a rom-com that you did not think was secretly good. And all it took was Gigli.

I hate to be “that guy,” but you’re off just a bit. May 27th was the release date of Smokey and the Bandit.

May 25th, 1977. Everything changed. Everything.

If I had a gun, with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and Toby, I would shoot Toby twice.

You’re right she was the second worse Jeopardy host based on *checks original post* nothing to do with her hosting.

Both Buzzy and Bialik are the biggest surprises for me. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to either, but right now, they’re my top 2.

Not to say that Bialik doesn’t have some, let’s say, questionable public comments in her background, but calling her “anti-vax” is incorrect. She’s said she thinks children should get vaccinated and I think she confirmed her own kids are vaccinated as well.

I’m Team BUZZY all the way.  He wasn’t just an unexpected surprise, he was unexpectedly fantastic.  I’d even go further - he was nearly perfect.  My only knock: maybe he needed to loosen up a bit.  But by the end of the run, he did that.  He was extremely likeable, didn’t get in the way of the contestants or the flow
