@Standish: I'll have to agree. I was pretty disappointed when I saw it. I had no idea I needed to bring a pair of binoculars with me just to have a better view than I can get in 3 seconds on the internet.

@gertpete: I have a lot of fun listening to the English voice try and pronounce all of the Native American and Spanish names we have in New Mexico. I'm not sure if you could butcher them any more if you tried.
@Unseelie23: Although I completely understand your point, I think the poll as it stands is equally valid, though for a different reason.
@geolemon: Reader is resistive 800x600
@CommentingpointlesslyisMeh: I remember seeing somewhere that the reader will carry 2.0 while the tablet runs 2.1. Not sure how long it will take to get an update or even if they plan on providing one.
If anyone cares about the official specs of these devices here's the link: [cruztablet.com]
@iComment10: that is because there are very few companies as pretentious about their products as Apple is.
@malthusan: I understand all of that, except that the APA format has become the de facto citation method for most business schools.
@upwindsquid: In today's society, I think that is more of a common theme than not. Many times companies could care less what your degree is in, only that you have one. That doesn't really give a great confidence boost to the importance of the knowledge gained.
@deciBels: Not always true. Some people recognize societies requirement for the piece of paper, not the knowledge that should be associated with it.
I just want to know when schools will finally admit what they are, a business. They don't exist to ensure I learn anything, or to maintain high ethical standards. They force society to think that a college level education should be a basic requirement for every job and then they soak you for it.
@the real that guy dave: I agree with every point except one. You can't say that APA is the way it's always been done because it's ALWAYS CHANGING. Now on revision 6, it is evolving much faster than our language.
While I don't have pictures of the incident, my lovely daughter decided that the speakers in my car needed modification. She kindly reached up to the speaker in the overhead soundbar and removed the tweeter.
@Sharp Aero: If I remember correctly, Samsung has a lock on the hummingbird processor as they helped design it.
@Robert Alicea: Unfortunately I think it happens more than either one of use know.
@Igor Neumann: it's not a cellphone company but Velocity Micro is planning on releasing a couple of 7" tablets this month. The specs they've released have yet to indicate the presence of a 3g connection though, also no word yet on the app marketplace.
@thechansen: The irony would be when the humping is a Morse-code transmission of your porn collection!
@ǝsoddnsIɹǝuɹǝɥʇnos: I think this just takes it one step further. They used it not only to capture keystroke info, but to copy and transmit hard drive contents. Nothing mind boggling, but certainly an escalation of the previous methods.
@Eulatos: fair enough.
@Green Man: I agree that you can find quality HDMI cable. The problems I've run in to with HDMI all concern cable length. because you can't terminate it yourself, you end up with cables that are too short and require a coupler and another cable, or a cable that is much too long.
