“No one in this story seems particularly likable and I love it.” I see no issue with the person that should have won the truck. The article does not seem to make that person seem unlikeable. Or, did I miss something.

No one in this story seems particularly likable...
A hole-in-one is rare enough that the dealership and country club felt comfortable gambling that nobody would manage to do it. Uh oh, somebody rolled snake eyes!
Needs to be a full convertible like the early 1971 k5/Jimmy and a cage is a must
Yeesh. I dont know. The stripes with the dots gave me a headache.
NY Int’l Auto Show this year was an absolute dud. We just did a tradeshow at the Jacob Javits Ctr (same as the NYIAS), and that was a dud as well. ‘Rona really screwed things up :(
I’ll die on this hill: socks with sandals is never, ever a good look.
I’m noticing conferences in general are all underperforming. I’ve been to a handful of industry related conferences and trade shows, and pretty much all of them are a ghost town.
“If you need socks to keep your feet warm with sandals, go for it!”
Socks and sandals means you are a sociopath. I think we’ve gone past sweats right into pajama pants.
Blue and brown can sometimes be a problem because blue is a component part of brown. If you have the wrong blue or the wrong brown, it’s hard to ignore. White after labor day was pretty much ok’d several years ago when fashion house introduced “winter white”. Now, it’s just a desire to look neat.
Matching your belt to your shoes is just common sense. Assuming you’re wearing nice shoes.
Sorry, but mixing black and navy blue just looks like you can’t tell the difference between the two. Can it be done? Absolutely! But it takes a more deft fashionable hand than your average, “Meh, close enough.”
I still say taking your hat off is a sign of respect. Particularly if you’re a guest in someone’s home.
I don’t get why some kind of automatic self-flagging for issues isn’t a mandatory thing, if the charger is offline for any reason it shouldn’t exist on my map when I search in the area
why not just build solar panel car ports at businesses with each port having an EV charging station? The initial cost would be very high, but the savings down the road would be great, not to mention the potential to become a mini power company. Maybe partner with apartment complexes to supply some power, build a…
Why should it be the OEMs responsibility?
It’s not the automotive industry’s choice to do it like this. EV development is being rushed through because of regulations made by lawmakers who don’t really have any clue what it takes to develop cars. I think if the auto industry had its way, it would transition more slowly with hybrids and PHEVs. And FWIW I’m all…
No fucking way! Really?
This transition is such a cluster. It’s pretty entertaining to watch the government and entire auto industry step on rake after rake after rake trying to make it work.
