You’d think “03 LS” would have given it away that it’s from a ‘03 Lincoln LS.
If I ever get into an accident with my 2003 commuter-car honda civic, it will surely be totaled. Which sucks cause at only 115,000 miles, it could easily last for at least another 5 years.
Ehh... I kept my old one for 5 years until I broke the screen. Since they no longer have free phones when you get a new contract, people are holding on to their devices for longer. I’m hoping to have my current phone for as long as possible.
Just like with cars, the rising cost of new devices means people hold off…
I have a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee - the back cup holder broke - It’s $200 to replace. It can stay broken.
“Wood is seen as a nice interior treatment, and everyone knows wood is supposed to be hard. You’re just making the hard brittle plastic copy something that is also hard and brittle, but making it seem luxurious.”
There was an article the other day about how people don’t to 30,000 lbs with their trucks.
That last guy is like 200 feet from his car. He could have walked to his car and got in it in the same time it took to back up and drive to him.
Truck campers can get pretty heavy. Large ones with dual slide-outs can be 5,000+ lbs. Then add in freshwater water, wastewater, propane, food, beer, firewood, gear. 6 people in the cab can easily weigh over 1,000 lbs.
You pay high health insurance cost, so others should, too? That’s a backwards way of thinking.
“UAW workers pay far less in individual contributions to health plans than most Americans do, and GM wants to see that go up”
More like Yellow Cab Medallion owners lobbying the government so they can keep their out of date business model afloat by keeping competition at bay.
In Manhattan, yes? But how about in the outer-boroughs where buses and subways are few and far between... and Yellow Cabs don’t want to go? Uber is the only way to go.
NYC Taxi’s are HORRIBLE compared to uber/lyft. Please do let Uber become like other taxi services out there.
Like touch screen in cars or US Navy warships - Just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should.
>They bring perspectives to automotive design and engineering that differ from those of people who have all been driving the same few company-built products throughout the years.
+1 for a JGC!
Better yet.. go to NJ. Better food, less traffic and plenty of parking spots.
Living in NJ, the best, easiest and fastest way to get in and around Manhattan is by car. Mass Transit sucks. Uber is the best way to go since you don’t have to worry about parking and shitty cab drivers. Yellow cabs are the worst.
And the average NYC resident hates cars.
