I say nice price. It looks to be a cleanly done swap in a clean car. I wish it was the LCI body wagon and I hate those wheels, but otherwise it’s quite nice.

I love my m3 swapped e46 touring. It isn’t as beautifully done as the one shown above, but it’s clean, fast, and everything works. I kind of enjoy the bit of sleeperness it has due to keeping all the non-M body panels in place. I do have one little hint on the back, with the badge, but most people probably don’t get…

As a lifelong BMW fanboi/nerd/blah, I have to say I like this. I’m tired of BMW not really offering limited slip diffs in non-M models (these do). I’m tired of BMW not focusing on steering feel (supposedly...these do). And I’m tired of BMW not caring that their cars are getting ugly (these are purty IMO). Too bad…

you really should consider the i head swap. Cheap way to make great power, while still retaining all that lovely torque.

I don’t think the automatic-only aspect will matter this time around. The 8 speed autos (especially those tuned by BMW), are so friggen good that you don’t even fear Clutchpocalypse so much anymore. Rowing your own gears on this luxobarge takes away from some of the lux aspect, and is certainly slower. DCTs are cool…

Why is Mazda supercharging these instead of using variable geometry turbos like everything else today? Is it because the lower combustion temps are leading to lower exhaust temps, effectively giving the turbochargers less energy to spool with?

wow, a lot of anti-wealthy sentiment going on here. I have to wonder...do those that feel this way, end up just like the rich people they “despised”, if they ever obtain wealth?

A number of rich people that I know are actually really generous. They donate a lot of time and money to people and causes in need. They also pay a shit ton in property taxes, sales taxes, and income taxes; and that helps subsidize many less fortunate as well.

Do you sit around in enjoyment over poor people getting fucked over? I’m guessing no. So....why is it ok to gloat over rich people getting the same treatment? Just because people are successful, doesn’t mean they are all money-grubbing, assholes, that take advantage of the poor.

I don’t understand this mentality. The residents were not incorrectly paying for this, the HOA was. Why are so many people excited to see “rich” people get hosed for something simply because they are rich? Sounds spiteful. Just because people have money, doesn’t mean it’s ok for them to get fucked over.

I loved my GS-R. But I hated the constant stream of Honda dummies trying to steal it. You basically NEEEVVVVVER find one that looks clean and is stock anymore. Thus, I say this is probably nice price.
