Do they determine these lists by vote? I always thought a writer went through the popular ones and put his own spin on it.

H1? There will always be a need for that type of that type of vehicle, and thus they should continue to be made. I said yesterday that Jalopnik is a fun source for news but that many of the writers don't know what they're talking about. Thanks for supporting my argument.
It also amused and failed to offend at least one Christian. We're not all that stuck up.
It's just stupid. The world needs less redneck, not more.
Why's it have to be modern? It gets the job done, it doesn't break, and I can afford to put gas in it. What else do I need? As far as the 5th wheel thing goes, I really need 7,000lbs at most. I said earlier in the discussion that this is for a trailered car. Thing is, if you can get another diesel SUV that can…
They've been prodding the car with the ugly stick since it was released. Now it looks like they've gone and given it a good smack.
It can also out-tow the Suburban and was available with much better motors. So, you're wrong.
What would be close? Are you talking about weights? They're over 7700lbs with one of the diesels, not sure which, 500lbs heavier than the V10.
I don't really consider VWs reasonable. One thing breaks, and I am staring down a super expensive part and a repair that I am probably not skilled enough to perform because VW has the most complicated, bass ackwards designs. Then a shop will have to charge 2-3x the hours that the fix ought to take. This will be all…
It's more than a bit naive to suggest that the largest accessible SUV ever made has no worth. Resale value refutes that alone. There are people that actually use them appropriately, believe it or not.
I mean, I don't need an 11,000lb towing capacity, yeah, but why not? And where's the diesel option in those two? I'm actually looking for a tow vehicle and seriously considering one of these because, even though I don't need to tow but half the 7.3's rated capacity, this is the only reasonable diesel SUV in my price…
These are actually heavier when equipped with a diesel motor. I'm not sure if they're dimensionally bigger or not.
In this age of crossovers, rapidly degenerating GM design, and increasingly competent Ford design, this needs to return to give people an option in the "I'm actually, really, honestly big, and a truck" SUV department.
So true, a lot of people would see marked improvement if they always made sure the sun was behind them.
If you're like most people, you have knees and they bend. Use this feature. You are not restricted to eye-level point of view. You can even lay all the way down or find a way to elevate yourself. The most boring albums from shows that I see are the ones where the photographer took every single picture from the…
Will the UAW be able to make any money in TN? 4.8% of the state was unionized in 2012. I'd bet the percentage of unionized auto workers is even lower.
I don't think it'd cheapen the brand if it had a carbon fiber monocoque and other features typical of modern supercars. But it would end up prohibitively expensive with all of those features...I just don't see a big enough market to justify it. I think most of the takers would be die-hard McLaren fans that can't…
I thought the show was the academy. So, don't most of the people that get on the show have prior experience?
Don't most of these guys/gals enter the "academy" with prior driving experience (which in turn made them better at GT)?
Despite today's "Answers of the Day", each and every one of these:
