From a guy that might deserve to be the subject in another comment-

Great article, Jason, but I think you picked the wrong subject.

My tolerance for bad, primitive blog posts is pretty high, as is my love for isolated posts authored by Benjamin Preston. So when I heard that a New York based blog house called Gawker Media commissioned a bad, primitive article by Preston, "Dear Facebook Troll: Sports Cars And Assualt Rifles Aren't The Same Thing", I

He looks like every other kid that went there while I was a student. Good riddance.

Perfect. Sure, cars aren't people and are property, meaning there's no ethical or moral problem with this...thing. Otherwise, spot on.

The chase itself is great, but the editing absolutely blows. There are about thrice as many cuts as there needs to be, and for that, I can't stand to watch it. Leave a shot up on the screen long enough to figure out what's going on!

About $55 for 13 gallons of ethanol-free 93 octane in Mooresville, NC. But the station around the corner from my house dropped from $3.85 to $3.65 over the past week.

It's not THAT bad. The only thing that comes close to 12 at Road Atlanta is the crest at the end of the backstretch, and that's just close.

I've heard bad things about this car from both a friend that used to work at Underground Racing and a friend who has done a lot of his own turbo work (including working for Borg Warner). Anything from this car's shop, Covert Tuning Dynamics, was created just because the place he originally tried to get it built

Especially true for pictures of cars on racetracks, autocross courses, and drag strips. But you should always remove your plates before participating in those activities anyway.

Death by nostalgia.

He wasn't following that close. Any of my buddies could have stopped in time granted they were paying attention. This guy was either somehow distracted or has an awful reaction time.

Friend's 335. Not sure what all was done to it at the time (he's constantly making changes), but it was putting down much more power than it did when it left the showroom. I didn't get on it though. Still, nice car. And I need to try to wiggle my way into nicer cars.

Maybe a "Lifetime Troll Achievement Award" from The Internet. He got everyone pretty good.

Meanwhile, this guy gets a bonus and a pension. I'd move to Italy if it wasn't a second-world country.

Also the flat 6s are louder ;)

I agree with you, but it's the job of any publicly traded (is BMW publicly traded?) mega corporation's marketing department to leverage the company's brands to make money. And that they're doing. It's frustrating, but the presence of modern BMWs at the track days I attend is deafening. Literally. I can't hear that

I'm guessing that it automatically chooses an icon based on the users' selected gender.

But what if one of the guys wore a dress???

Did you ever sell the Roadmaster?
