What if they lost their job between buying the console/game and now? I dunno, I’m not a big fan of judging anyone else’s financial situation — $40 can mean very different things to different people.

Speaking for myself, I don’t have the money right now. And I spent twenty _very_ confused minutes playing my level 34 character last night and wondering why the hell I wasn’t gaining XP.

So now I wonder: why didn’t they just release a separate game, Destiny 2: The Taken King, and let all the Destiny 1 players continue playing the first game as-is?
