Agree, calling a particular car ugly, when you can see its ugly is isnt a stereotype. Deciding a RC must be reliable but boring without knowing anything about it besides its a lexus is stereotyping.

Easiest crackpipe ever? At a tenth of this price, I could see it, but it wouldn’t be for me. In nonturbo automatic form these rival yesterdays lexus for the worst driving and looking car ever.
Jag
Love this conceptually, pretty, nice interior, fast, handles well, reliable. But I could build my own for significantly less.
Twas
They are dynamically bland, frumpy, heavy, and have a retarded back seat.
I think a solara is a better solution
While the xkr may just be the prettiest car of its era, this trounces it dynamically and is also handsome.
Theres alot of room between miata and this. A CLK500 is a much better looking and driving thing.
My prejudices against these run pretty deep. And its not just the styling, they are also dynamically bland. I love the early sc though. Worst reboot ever. The rc has the franchise back on track.
Not for me at all, but probably fair.
My choice too, but a gt3 would be wasted except on a skilled, agressive driver.
I.suspect the aircooled bubble will burst. Manual 997 turbos will probably apprecuate, but the typical 997 is a few years from the buy here pay here lot bottom. The gt3 will probably lotus.
Its kinetic things, not dick measuring, and the possibility of appreciation, which would draw me to a gt3 or 997 turbo. That said, id buy a boxster spyder over either.

I see two issues with this, a purist would know he wanted an old one, and it would take a purist to appreciate one.
Why awd?
And a lease makes sense for hin with limited miles and maintenance concerns. This is probably the best “noncarguy” option, and a base 911 is still awesome. Pdk base base model probably the way to go in this scenario.
For someone not track oriented, thats probably the best choice. 997 turbo is a perfect blend of “good car” and “exotic”, and a manual will likely appreciate.
