Not to get all ontological with our ornithologic discussion, but I see two distinct camps of thought forming as to what this “is”.

The camp to which this is not a raptor, because it was not labelled as such by ford.

The camp that says it is substantively a raptor because it has the suspension, ad the body work which is

“ But your missing the main purpose of the Raptor. The suspension!” This has the raptor suspension.

Ya, you’re wrong. Check out a mudbogging event.

But this thing is a raptor in suspension, if not in name. Your mansion stickers dont add to the home in the way the suspension and blower do.Its not like the just put raptor badge, or even a grill on this.

This is pretty far into the rich guys toy thing, from my perspective. Of course you arent going to daily it, thats that the E63 wagon is for.

Ya, but it has the suspension which is the thing that makes the raptor remarkable.

4l60es have given me a ton of problems. In my experience and watching those around me I’d say they are good for 85k miles or so.

Id say a car is only rear engined if the engine is behind the transaxle. If the motor is ahead of or next to the trans axle it’s mid rear.

That was my first thought.

yall over emphasized the weird, at the expense of trackdays.

Road noise apparently? Thrum at hiway speeds? Makes no sense to phrase it that way to me though, and it seems like swapping the tires would solve it.

Don’t crash

Y’all are crazy voting CP on this. I’ll bet we will live to see this thing change hands at 10x this price.

Id argue the Mazda 5 is the only minivan left

They were usefully lighter and rawer. Think CRX vs RSX.

That wasn’t the point- in fact doing a roll race in the Camry is about the simplest thing ever. The stats sheets say that the mustangs should win, that’s why this is noteworthy.

The mid grade is “made” at the pump by blending the two. So it doesn’t cost much more to ad the choice for customers. I have a stock 2003 4.7 Tundra, and it’ll detonate under full load, esp on hot days, so sometimes I’ll put some in there. I’ve encountered detonatey fords too. And then anything with the timing

I had a 2012 V6 se. I raced a few 3.7 mustangs, soundly beat them all.

1) for my money a 4c might as well be a avendator, so we have different perspectives.
