I really like front engine Porsches but at $10,000, it better be near mint. Only 928s command high prices for this layout of Porsche.

It’s sad Group A had to go the way of the dodo. I liked the homologation requirement as one could own a version of the real thing. The Group A cars were also the last era of cars where every car wasn’t build to the same specs (i.e. Toyota Supra, VW GTI 16V, Opel Astra, Ford Sierra Cosworth, BMW M3 E30, hell the Ford…
Gary Demasi runs a 5.0 V8 Ford Ranger, it’s pretty cool.
The X-type Jag was a Ford parts bin special that took everything good Jag had (power, style, exclusivity) and made it a cheap shadow of a once proud brand. The best thing Ford did for Jaguar was sell it to a proper British automaker who could brand and build the cars the way they deserved, in this case Aston Martin…
I really like this truck, $15,000 is probably on the high side but I think it will definitely find the right person and get sold. I even like the customized yellow paint with brown or black pin striping. I am not surprised that, as usual, am going against the common grain.
This idea of pre-ignition is not a new idea. Honda developed this system in the 1970s on the CVCC.
This is definitely a crack pipe, not sure if many voters have ever driven a 2.slow mk4 car but they are painfully slow and underpowered. Also this car has just shy of 200,000 miles on the clock. It may “look” good, which I do not agree with either, and it runs (but probably for not much longer). I’ve owned many VWs…
This is a BMW performance touring wagon for a BMW enthusiast. Cars with powertrain and drivetrain swaps should only be bought by enthusiasts who are familiar with what they are receiving (or people into steep learning curves). That being said, he will probably get his money from a BMW fan as there are many. I like…
I hate to say but this outcome is fairly typical of NPOCP. Almost everything over $10,000 get crack piped just because it is deemed “expensive”. Sometimes it is well deserved but good things that are rare cost money and prices go up for well preserved examples. 1980s racing homologation specials are becoming one of…
Coincidentally, the Scirocco was originally a collaboration between Porsche and VW. Porsche wanted a entry level sports car to help keep the brand alive and VW was interested in a RWD sportier version of the golf. Not sure what happened but VW lost interest in the project but still allowed Porsche to raid there parts…
I could not agree more
