I didn’t even realize she was dubbed until I read about it after watching the movie, so they did a good job of doing that subtly.

No Alita: Battle Angel ?

“Oh God, take it off,” Russell related as his thoughts upon seeing himself in the mirror, “You’re gonna lose so much money.”

Shop owners I know have no problem banning idiots like that from the premises.  They keep busy enough as it is backlogged for a few weeks and don’t need the headache

Jeb, you just hit on a whole other situation. Oh the list of stories I’ve come across of this exact situation. Sheesh

Jiffy Boob”

Dear Penthouse: It was a hot day in the summer. The mechanic’s blue shirt was unbuttoned an extra notch, showing glistening chest hair. His hands were the rough, strong hands of a working man as they shook mine and I looked into his grey eyes, steely as the tools he wielded.

That reddit thread gave me more of a ‘Qanon people coming to realization after the inauguration’ vibe. The FSD is at least attached to an otherwise useful car.

I feel like the same general advice of “don’t treat Kickstarter as pre-orders” applies here.

I sold a car on Cars & Bids. Probably got 10-20% more than I would have been able to get selling through other classifieds type sites.  It was a positive experience overall.

I think you’re probably onto what Fiennes was expressing. It’s funny that Huges proved Fiennes’ point with his over-reactionary article.

I think Studebaker. The Avanti would be the initial offering.

I read a lot of conjecture in this. I’m as guilty as anyone. I’ll go into a rural gas station and be the only person with a mask and think “All these people think I’m some sort of alien because I have on a mask”

No wonder you almost had a nervous breakdown. It must have been horrifying to encounter people that aren’t like you.

Is this really a thing, or something that coastal liberals tell their kids to scare them at night about the middle of the country?

Repairing the damage from that is gonna cost some bucks.
