I think the answer to “How” is probably analysis paralysis. By the time they realized that their plan wasn’t keeping up with expectations, it was too late to change it.

If this were fully sorted (no paint issues, no sticking throttle, no parking brake problem), I might actually throw it a NP. The list of updates and mods is pretty nice, with an actual CAI, Hurst shifter, & some other details that I appreciate. But it’s not, and it’s overpriced.

There’s that, plus dude’s selling it in Alexandria VA, which would be a pretty awful place for this as a daily driver. He probably needed to learn that lesson and it cost him a bunch of money.

And the description on Craigslist made reference to an occasionally sticky throttle, which red-flagged it for me right there.

I’m really skeeved out by that “extreme indifference to the value of human life” statement on the face of it. It’s awfully presumptive, unless there’s something that they’ve got as evidence showing that he was stating “If they die, they die” or something like that.

Yelena was following Eleanor because Kate planted that seed of doubt about Clint in her head. The hit wasn’t turning out to be as straightforward as it seemed and Yelena isn’t strictly speaking a Black Widow automaton/weapon anymore. 

Cannonball Run is worth it just to see Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. playing off each other, and for this quiet moment with the incomparable Jack Elam.

Those Peppermint Jo-Jos are astonishingly good. I also agree about the peanut butter cups. Reeses at some point in time changed something about their formulation and the net result was such a letdown. The TJs have great flavor.

I don’t like Max at Red Bull. Red Bull’s team environment is toxic. I think that’s a team environment that can take a young, cocky, aggressive driver and make that driver into a raging asshole. I totally agree. This show has blown my mind on so many occasions (including every damn time Robbie Williams comes on) and it’s so much credit to Graham Norton for his perfect interviewing ability. Only Sean Evans on Hot Ones and Johnny Carson compare, in my opinion.
