Huh. I was kind of uncomfortable with the radar cruise control in my mom’s Infiniti, and that’s after I switched off all the other driver aids & figured out how to set the radar range to its lowest setting so the car wouldn’t just inexplicably act like it was stalling because it saw traffic a quarter mile ahead.

I’m thinking either politician’s kid or maybe kid of someone in pro or college athletics. Someone with money & name recognition.

Not just rarest modern VWs...I’d warrant that this is one of the most rare cars by any metric in the US. If I had Leno or Seinfeld money, then I’d still talk this guy down and buy this, but only if.

It’s gonna be a minivan. Honda Odyssey for me.

When I think about the Civic Si, I think about the 1980s ones first. Those were my contemporaries. I ended up with the first-generation Integra which brought power steering into the platform, but any of those era were actual go-karts compared to the modern Si.

I was about to point out the bright side to that moment, but now I get what you’re actually talking about (the recording of the conversation by...presumably a third person?) and yeah, I dig what you’re saying.

I would say both the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 second-generation to third-generation changes were substantial.

Really wanted this to be a NP but it’s just not there. The taillights are horrible and I’m guessing the new top was needed because someone slashed the old one to get in there and steal the stereo and bust the lock on the glovebox. That might even explain the damage to the passenger-side seat.

Looks like it’s got two left seats instead of a left and a right.

Smaller chassis? I wonder what the height limit for this is.

Yeah, agreed, it’s a V8-powered hardtop convertible in great condition. I’m sure I’d be disappointed if I expected it to be a canyon carver but as a cruiser, it’s going to be a comfortable ride.

For every episode, I’ve enjoyed just pausing on the cast list and marveling (no pun intended) at the actors they’ve gotten to record for this project.

I don’t hate it but it’s a $25K car for me.

I was not expecting this new Wonder Years to stick the landing so well. But it looks really well done. I love Dule Hill and having Don Cheadle as narrator is a stroke of genius.

Elvira exists outside of age.

Hell, looking at this whole thing, if you got into a nasty wreck, the fire department wouldn’t need jaws of life to get you out, they could probably just peel it away with their hands.

I had a bad-shrimp case of food poisoning back in July myself. I feel your pain. Hope you had some good anti-nausea meds.

Focusing is good, I would say. There is always time for branching out once you’ve reached your mastery.

Archery is an awesome, addicting, motivating exercise. We do target archery (not for hunting, just punching holes in targets) pretty much weekly and shoot with/coach 4-H and other youth organizations. It’s so much fun, no matter what kind of equipment you choose (full compound, recurve, Genesis).

I’ve been in a courtroom when a mother who lost a child to murder faced her son’s killer, and even though she kept it in, the fury beneath the surface was frightening. I was convinced she was going to take him to the ground.
