Driver’s bedroom? Like how aircrew on long-haul airliners have their own crew rest area.

I’m going with Nice Price, and I think I have sound reasons. First, it’s an ‘88 with stick shift and V6, which is already THE combo to have in general. Second, while I recognize that flat black is the “I tried” of the car finish world, it’s at least consistent and I’d say it’s probably a decent base for a wrap or

I know we’ve cancelled the star but Haywire should be on this list. She performed her own stunts and the fight scenes are realistic and crunchy.

I had a little neighborhood shop that I frequented and liked, and one time when I was in waiting to get my keys, I was listening to a woman tear the manager a new one. After she left, he just looked so dejected, so I asked him if he was okay. He said “She comes in here every month with something trashed on that car,

Had a Ford dealer try to get me to pay $600 for a new oil pan after they stripped the threads for the oil pan’s plug. I walked in there & got the service writer to admit in front of his boss that threads only stripped if they were overtorqued or cross-threaded, and then said “You’re the only place that services this

Voted ND but I’d negotiate him to $7K including the hardtop.

Netflix, yes. YouTube, not an official app unless you set up Google Play Services on it. You can also just bookmark the YouTube site in the Silk browser and get most of the functionality.

My cousin started a taxi/rideshare company with all Model Ss and Model Xs several years ago, and part of the rationale for it was because they expected to go driverless “in a couple of years.” Bold strategy, not sure it’s gone all that well.

Call me crazy but it’s a luxury car rental place...I’m not sure “best practices” is part of the vernacular there.

I did read that they had a power failure of some sort and lost steering.

I mean...I’m not into torture, but I would imagine that part of the fun is the anticipation of pain and the novelty of finding ways to apply it.

IIRC, the torture droid would actually program the droids to feel pain before torturing them, just for kicks. It wasn’t a default setting. (Obviously, because dismembered C-3PO being carried around by Chewie in ESB would be a totally different experience...)

I had the Action Force Flint...a family member brought it back home from England for me.

Covert Affairs and (to an extent) Alias were both good at this, as I recall.

Front struts and replacing a damaged bumper on my Taurus. Gonna be esspensive.

I’ve read that changing the 5-speed from this out for a 6-speed from an RSX is a transformational move. Supposedly it’s not that complicated but I don’t know.

NP, and the reason why is Nomadland and the general growth of the van-living lifestyle. If they’re not already up there, prices for these things in general are going to start climbing due to popularity. I get that the Caravan’s not a great buy on its own but you’re not paying for the Caravan, you’re paying for what

May have happened to DED too but I remember Kitman’s piece very specifically because of the pencil drawing of his face with the detached lip hanging down.

The first thing of his that I ever read was about getting into a wreck in something small & British that caused his face to half-fall off, IIRC.

I definitely think the Tartakovsky series is good but it had some really weird stuff going on in the stylization of its animation. I rewatched some of it a while back and I don’t think it’s aged well.
