Yep, I don't know if the Mondeo ST200s have fared as well (or poorly) on the used market as the Contour SVTs have, but importing one from overseas might be a way of bringing back some of that magic.

It looks well kept, the tire choice demonstrates a conscientious owner, and the miles aren’t a red flag because it’s showing that it’s a driver. I can’t think of much else new or in good shape that I’d rather spend $16.5K on. NP

To be fair, Hamilton made his share of mistakes when he was at Russell’s level, too. Years of experience make a big difference.

Did anyone else catch the name of the auto auction place in Nashville?

Depends on how good the drugs he can take beforehand are.

This is true. I tried out an app that connected with my Taurus’s OBDII and had different engine noises mapped to throttle position. Took me about five minutes to get over the novelty of it.

Really striking in yellow or red.

Think about it like an Italian Integra. It has exactly the same horsepower as the contemporary Acura Integra (non-GSR) did, and those were fun to drive.

Nice Price for nostalgic excitement if nothing else. These came out when I was in college, spending weeks in the UK during the summer, and owning an Integra back home. I saw one drive by one day (after having read the UK car magazines voraciously) and oh my GOD it was so cool and European. You know how American

That’s still a great-looking car.

I’ve really wanted the following, and have given up on the idea of each because of cost and/or my 6'4" frame:

It’ll be interesting to see if Ahmed or the movie get flack for the portrayal of Deafness. I know that segments of the Deaf community are sensitive to how they’re portrayed and interacted with. Just thinking about it in the same context of Sia and her film about autism.

I think there’s a really quick splice cut there before Hoff sits down. You can see just this tiny shift in his position relative to the background that doesn’t look normal, but it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.

Biggest shock to me was that they splashed the Razor Crest. My kid built the LEGO model just last month.

Those kneepad rockets have been canon since Star Wars started doing visual guides, though. In fact, I was rather elated to see what it looked like when they were actually used.

Don’t forget The Ref. Just maybe don’t watch it with the kids.

Not exactly correct, the 500/Freestyle names lasted 2005-2007 before converting to Taurus and Taurus X with the mid-cycle refresh (which was significant, especially the move from 3.0L Duratec to 3.5L Cyclone engines). And Ford actually kept the prior-generation Taurus around through 2007 as a fleet/rental model, just

This is definitely a car that I’d point a retired couple to if they were thinking about getting something fun. And I would totally be okay with inheriting one. Might not keep it for a long time, but cruising around in nice weather with my kids? Heck yeah.

“took care of it”

It looks to me like the momentum/kinetic energy at the impact shifted from going forward (at impact) to going sideways (deceleration at an angle) and the timing of that shift plus the nature of those barriers basically made the barrier into a sideways guillotine going through the car behind Grosjean’s safety cell. The
