Honestly torn. It’s definitely not a $12k car. That’s just the price of purchase. Sourcing parts for this as it breaks might not be fun, but might not be as bad as some limited run cars of the 70’s. It’s kind of shocking to see all the things in the pictures that was clearly Lotus just trying to get a car out.

Uniqueness per dollar is off the charts- you’ll never meet another one. Seems well cared for and honestly represented. NP

No one is buying this thing to drive.  It’s going into a museum.

I mean, it’s a 70's muscle car. If someone is willing to pay even half of what this guy is asking, the additional cost of sprucing it up and replacing all the seals etc is like a rounding error in the equation.

I too share the Wrangler hate. I don’t get these vehicles outside the extremely specific use case of off-roading up cliffs or whatever. And even then, I think an older Toyota 4runner is a better choice because it will off road and still do other stuff. Wranglers are expensive one trick ponies. Nothing wrong with a one

I typically dislike Volkswagen (I just think differently than their process), but I outright HATE the GTI

This is a silly article, and I’m not sure exactly what point it is trying to prove. Most of these are either expected to be low-volume, or are currently launching. I don’t think calling them the “worst-selling” is fair. It would be more interesting if you posted an article looking at the vehicles with the biggest YoY

This is weapons-grade crazy. Anyone looking to spend six figures on a car isn’t looking for cars on Craigslist.

I get it that auction sites (or actual auction events) charge fees, but why wouldn’t you be taking this to a place that gets the deep pocketed enthusiast eyes on it? That is who you want right?

... what the hell?

Notably missing from this story:

Stinger is the right answer.

Half way there

After eleven years of watching Musk The CEO eclipse Tesla The Earth-Saving Brand, do you still own that Model S?”

Tesla’s panel gaps and shoddy build quality notwithstanding

Can’t decide between the XM or the iX - both entirely revolting.

That last slide is spot-on. Buc-ee’s FTW! Consistently the best road trip rest and refresh yourself spots anywhere.

25 miles east of Savannah is 24.5 miles into the Atlantic Ocean.

Do the Buc-ee’s onesies come in adult sizes?  Asking for a friend....

What a moronic reply. Imagine not enjoying things
