Jeb! & The Holograms

Thank you. This is like one of the saddest things I’ve ever read on the internet. It’s basically this book -

This depresses me.

It is a bizarre cutoff. Most monitoring programs use 50ng/ml, the WADA uses 150... but the NFL just moved it up to 35 from fucking 15. It’s a little sanctimonious, and leads to these types of debates without there being a sense that players are provided real support (like most professionals would be through an EAP).

Odd that they do 35 ng/ml, the standard for almost everywhere is 50 ng. I wonder if that’s because he’s already failed a test or if that’s standard for the NFL. He hasn’t deserved the benefit of the doubt, but professional athletes do commonly drink a large amount of water, which could be enough to get a sample

Yes that’s exactly what it means. The old wisdom for how to beat a drug test was basically “drink a shit ton of water, thereby diluting everything else in your urine, in the hope that it won’t show up on the test”. Testing protocols now include a test to make sure that there is a certain density of particular proteins

“Challenge accepted.” — Johnny Manziel

It means there was another substance in there ment to mask the THC. They are using the “make (something) weaker in force, content or value” definition.

You do understand that his play wasn’t the issue it was the drinking, the lack or responsibility and the girlfriend beating?

Manziel says he and Gordon are testing themselves and staying positive.

Of course they have. They’re praying he can either somehow win or do enough damage that their work will be easier.

Sanders has no real chance in NY he’ll win upstate New York and Hillary will win the city and long island which means she’ll get plenty of delgates and finally put this half of the race out of our collective misery.

DUDE. Using the street as a sidewalk is completely illegal. How is asking someone to use the sidewalk like they’re supposed to “do whatever I say when I say it”?

“Therefore, we overrule People v. Ventura, 262 Mich.App. 370, 686 N.W.2d 748 (2004), to the extent that it held that the Legislature affirmatively chose to modify the traditional common-law rule that a person may resist an unlawful arrest.”

No. Definitely not allowed to resist an “unlawful” arrest. It’s the judge who determines the arrest to be unlawful, not the perp.

Why? My understanding is that as a pedestrian you have to follow the law for pedestrians. Meaning if there is a sidewalk you have to use it. If there isn’t one, you can be in the street as long as it’s against traffic.

I just told you, because they negotiated the charges. This was a situation where she should and would have been let off with a warning and a ‘have a nice day’ had she even made the slightest attempt at pretending to comply. But she didn’t. She had to blow everything out of proportion, disrespect the officer, and force

Yeah, but this arrest was completely lawful. In that state, you have to run on a sidewalk if possible.

No, but repeatedly ignoring a cop and telling him “don’t fucking touch me” is.

Why would a car driving on the sidewalk bother pedestrians? It's dangerous and completely unnecessary.

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. Fuck street runners. “Oh the road is softer on my feet!” No, I hate you.
