This election has brought out some of the worst of th geography-based us vs them mentality that helps liberals & Dems continue losing & not making inroads in historically red states. Well Ricky to put it succinctly...it grows tiresome when a post comes off sounding like its cause celebre was the first time anyone has even seen such an offense. I’m aware things like this have happened before. Is the 5th time I’m hearing about it supposed to get me any angrier?

It’s not really a choice. They grew up there, that’s what their fathers did, and it was probably the only realistic option for a job that paid enough to support their families. Moving away from home and getting training for other jobs isn’t an option for a huge fraction of the population.
