The “OK” knocked me out. It has to be the the step child of “I said what I said” This child is COMPLETELY unbothered by his teacher. It’s fabulous. And I have been trying to find a way to articulate what my mood for 2018 is and this child found it for me.

I think you’re underestimating the mental gymnastics of the average bigot/racist. The same people screaming Blue Lives Matter are also pushing this “alternative facts” crap.

It’s called the Dunning-Kruger effect. Basically ignorant people don’t realize how much they don’t know so they have an artificially inflated sense of superiority. Smart people usually come off more reserved because they’re smart enough to realize that they don’t know everything. So they seem less confident.
