You’re right. There’s absolutely no reason celebs should be assumed to be more socially aware/sensitive than the average person. I just thought, as someone who’s lived the experience she has, and who comes off as so radical... bah. Now I’m heading into tone-deaf territory so I’m just going to stop.

Disappointing. I love her music, I’ve seen her live twice and she puts on an incredibly hype show. I’m always so puzzled when musicians and other celeb types make comments like this. Like, I thought you were woke or whatever but this is just really misguided.

We don’t have White Castle here, but we do have a sort of similacrum called Krystals (aka “Krittle”). Every time I eat Krystals - approximately twice a year - I am grossed out and swear off of it. And then six months later I go back. It’s the cornpups. I can’t quit them.

All of this. There is quite clearly no cause of action against the movie theater, and the fact that the suit was filed in the first place (because of the questionable legal ethics and greed of the plaintiffs’ attorneys that filed it) is the buried lede here.
