I’ve thought the same thing as well. Either more unisex bathrooms or we need to relax gender-specific standards. I work at a cancer clinic and one time I was using the bathroom and I saw an older man standing outside the handicapped stall. At first I was shocked but I quickly realized he was there to help his wife

I figured after taxes it will be around $350 million? First thing, I’m going to pay off my and my siblings’ student loan debts (and give some money to their kids in a college fund). Then I’m going to give my parents enough money so they can retire and never have to worry about money again. I would also help a few of

Wait. So Trump is saying it would set a dangerous precedent in banning him from the UK when he was just saying that he would deport all Muslims from the U.S.? I just can’t anymore. I will do practically anything to never hear from this person again.

Ava DuVernay is right. Look at the picture of last year’s winners. Redmayne played a real-life character, but there was no reason the other three winners couldn’t have been played by people of color.

I shouted when she said that. I can’t believe it hadn’t been said (publicly) until then.

I held it together until I saw Taraji P. Henson’s support. I loved her supportive reaction.

Totally agree. I LOVE Denzel Washington and I think Malcolm X was his best movie, by far.

Please ungrey me! I don’t comment here too often but I’m not a lunatic, I swear! Good luck with the new job and I hope you are enjoying wedded bliss!

This photo will always remain one of my all time favorite photos.

Honestly, I watch it now only for the correspondents. When I heard that the writers were staying after John Stewart, I thought that was wonderful. Now, I don’t know. The show is still funny, but I feel like I’m hearing Trevor imitating John. However, that does show me more than ever how brilliant the writers are.

In that case I vote for Shirley Temple. She started even younger than Ron Howard during the time where there were no rules for child actors (i.e. look at how they messed up Judy Garland) and ended up as a U.S. Ambassador.

I agree that the 1937 version was the best one. Frederic March was incredible as Norman Maine. But, I connected more with Judy Garland than Janet Gaynor (even though I think they went overboard with her musical numbers). I’m still miffed that she lost the Oscar to Grace Kelly.

It’s really infuriating. I just saw on Twitter that the verdict was in. I turned to the different news stations hoping to see video of the verdict. But nothing. Both CNN and MSNBC were discussing Trump (surprise, surprise!). I already knew that this case wasn’t getting anywhere NEAR the amount of coverage it should

Aha. Yup I thought it was Bert. I’m still in shock over how he white-splained how it was ok for his son to be in blackface to portray Muhammad Ali in school a few years ago. And I totally agree about Jeff. I was never a big fan of Kristin.

To me that’s kind of like saying that women should feel lucky to live in the U.S. and shouldn’t complain about feminist and women’s reproductive issues because at least we don’t live in places like Saudi Arabia.

Who was it? I bet I could take a guess though...

Same thing happened to me. I was living at home for a while after college and my room was next door to my parents. Ahh! Scarred for life! But at the same time, it did make me happy for them that they still loved each other after all those years. Now that they’re empty nesters they LOVE to travel. More than once I’ve

This horrible attack made me think of something and with the potential ages of these terrorists... Even if ISIS is defeated would that really stop small cells from carrying out these type of attacks? With technology to create bombs and high-powered weapons and social media to attract lonely/depressed/etc. young people

Ok. I see where you’re coming from but if we’re to follow that logic I would like to kick out all young white men since the majority of U.S. mass shootings and terrorist/white supremacy attacks are done by them even though it’s only a tiny fraction of them.

First day of 4th grade. I somehow forgot to bring any pencils. Instead of just telling the teacher I burst into tears. I guess I thought I would get into trouble for not having pencils? It’s so embarrassing to think about it now.
