+1 Part of my family is northern German, and they suddenly became much more Danish during WWII.

My partner and I are also atheists, and have had the conversation (since the Orange One’s election) about which religion we would find least objectionable in event of a national requirement to attend church. She suggested Unitarianism, and my response was, “They are coming for the Unitarians right after the atheists.”

A good analogy for two years from now.... hopefully!

Black Mirror is pretty serious business. I watched it with my partner (and we aren’t usually shaken up by TV or movies), and that first episode was like....WOW. It was nearly six months before we considered watching another episode.
