Except that isn't the case, believe it or not , just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they hate you or don't like you. sometimes it's because your views are stupid.

It's not 1 out of 10, it's more like 7 out of 100. And yes, that IS an extreme minority.

You have no right to demand that another culture by default fall in line with your extreme minority lifestyle, and to spin that as "disappointment" is just you demanding their culture bow down to your personal view.

Agreed, but expecting by default that a different culture automatically fall in line with your American extreme minority niche is absurd.

You can't go to something that is created specifically for another group, and then turn your nose up at them and say they "let you down".

I know, it's crazy right? I live right in between two major cities, one with China town, one with Japan town. And the only time I've actually talked to a Japanese person, is when I worked on a base.

not misguided, not straw anything. Just realistic observations on life, but ok.

Again, culturally speaking, it is very taboo to be gay. That is a fact. Just because they are in shows (which they are frequently flamboyant, but but always), doesn't mean it's widely accepted socially.

That's just it, by definition it is unusual. It's 7% of the population, and most if that % is in a few major cities.

Actually the last accepted number was about 7% not 10%.

I disagree, I'm not offended. I'm just tired of people painting creators as bigots because they don't pander to miniscule parts of American society.
