I read the update, the heatwave started yesterday.  Here in Kaiserslautern it was 101F yesterday and of course no AC.  We drove around in the Ram just to enjoy the AC

I had a 1990 Z51 Corvette, eventually sold it after we had a kid and needed a back seat. That is a great model year to have!

We rented a Ford Mondeo wagon for a trip to Italy. Besides the fact that they can’t be had in the US (awesome car!) and was a sports optioned diesel turbo. It had automatic wipers...didn’t have to select anything. Right as I was reaching for the stalk to swipe the windshield they activated. I hate that I can’t bring…

Driving this gives me the impression of pulling the pin on a grenade, replacing it with a toothpick and running around with it...Love the car, 200k scares the NP out of me

We had one for a few years. I bought it at a Gov’t auction in Italy (before we had kids!) and we drove it all over Europe, shipped it back to the US and drove it all over the US. Great dependable vehicle, I only sold it because we wanted something newer. NP all day!

I’d forgotten about these, took some serious craftsmanship to make that happen!
