250s get better gas mileage, ( I don’t know for sure, but the 250 has a smaller engine and that means less power and that means less fuel consumption. ) and a 250 could be cheaper, I suppose. Thanks for the info though.

I am really considering getting a first motorcycle this year. I am hoping to buy a used Ninja 250, but the cruiser mentioned above might also be a good addition. Any tips? I am looking for something cheap and reliable.
